Very cozy, rustic, middle-class eatery, which was also very tasty, can only be recommended.

One star is still too many! The grumpy waitress dispatched us, that was the bottom step. According to the notice, they don't take reservations, but almost all tables were reserved. Such an incredible arrogance. They really don't need it, Corona didn't do any harm there. I just hope that everyone will go back to Bavaria and Austria after the pandemic. There is still hospitality there! You won't find that in Kauzeneck. I can only recommend: stay away!

There is delicious German cuisine here, no chic mickey but a very down-to-earth restaurant with very friendly service, we have been here four times in a row and we feel very comfortable. And the portions fill you up;)

Pretty traditional Thuringian restaurant with soft local music accompanied by hearty home-style cooking, coffee, delicious cakes and ice cream. The service was very friendly and the food was served hot and quickly. Surprisingly, a horse-drawn carriage drove by.

Attracted by the good reviews, my visit turned into a disappointment. This does not apply to the optically tidy restaurant and also not to the quality of the food, which I did without, but after my question, "Can I charge the battery of my e-bike while I am here?" , was rejected immediately and almost as outrageous. That has never happened to me in any restaurant.

We arrived shortly after 8:30 p.m. and were greeted warmly. After a short consultation with the kitchen, our question as to whether we could get something to eat was answered in the affirmative. The food came quickly and was delicious. Home cooking. Big portion. Price / offer: Very good.

Small but fine restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. It was also one of the few that had opened on a Thursday. The Germknödel was ordered extra without poppy seeds. From the squares you have a good view of the snow-covered garden.
